Start and Girls' Day

Sometimes I feel like I tell the same stories about the girls a hundred times.  For that reason, I have decided to try my hand at blogging.

Today was girls' day.  Me, Ms. Deana, Sarah, Gracie and Anna spent the whole afternoon together.  We started off the afternoon with lunch at a Hibachi restaurant.  I think Gracie enjoyed herself the most.  Each time something on the grill would catch fire she would say "oh.  Fire in the hole."  She was so funny.  Gracie did not leave a single noodle on her plate either.  I'm really glad she isn't a picky eater.  Anna looked very interested in what we were all eating.  Poor thing is still on a milk only diet for at least two more months.

After lunch, we went to what felt like every specialty store in Alexandria.  Gracie really enjoyed the Purple Cow.  They have so many cute toys.  The first store we went to had the cutest headbands and hats for Anna.  I think I'll get her some for Christmas since she is still to little to really mind wearing those.

We shopped around for a while then stopped for an afternoon coffee break.  Gracie Lynn loves coffee.  Luckily I can still trick her with a glass full of mostly milk.  She also ate some ice cream and cinnamon roll with Sarah and her MiMa.

What's the best thing to do after coffee?  More shopping of course!  We looked for some Christmas presents for Gracie and Anna but didn't find exactly what we were looking for.  We did however find the cutest blue jean dresses for Thanksgiving day and some other things as a gift.  I can't say what we got or who it was for so it'll stay a surprise :)

Today was a fantastic day!  Grace was so well behaved.  She totally missed her nap and was only cranky at the very end of the day.  She crashed in the car on the way home; we wore her out!  Anna was less tired but then again someone carried her around all day.  I can't wait until she can be an active participant in our outings!

This is one tired mommy!
Goodnight.
